On a quest to solve her mother's mysterious disappearance, half-human Xiao Wan steps onto a time-travelling train and takes up the arduous task of helping people out with problems regarding their fate. She weaves her way through cities rich with history, crossing paths with the likes of a quick-witted, courageous Roman general and a reckless, possessive Babylonian king.
