While at work, a man named Hosokawa spotted Reycom eating fish inside a warehouse. Reycom became attached to Hosokawa and when Hosokawa lost his job, Reycom convinced Hosokawa to use his blue spell book. Afterwards, Hosokawa used the Reycom's spells to fulfil his every want and need. Hosokawa treats Reycom as nothing but a weapon instead of a companion and Reycom doesn't care. Reycom was the second Mamodo that Zatch and Kiyo went up against in the anime. He is cold hearted and likes mindless destruction.
